Today is a very special day for many women around the world.  It is the day that she is celebrated.  Of course, she is celebrated every day but this day is a symbolic gesture of thanks and appreciation.  She is a mother.

A mother may not have given birth naturally but may have been a mother to someone spiritually or have raised a child for someone else. 

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers.  May you enjoy the rest and relaxation today.  May you experience God's love today and everyday.  May you  know that you are loved, cherished and appreciated. I salute and honor you.

For the many people who have lost their moms, may God's peace rest with you today as you think about your mom and the impressions that she has left on you and your life.  God used her to bring you into this world. 

For all the single mothers who are making it work as best as they could.  You have the capacity for this journey.  You are built solid to handle this precious gift.  Never look at your children as mistakes but raise them up in love and in the knowledge of God.  They are a seed planted in this Earth and harvest will come.  Stay encouraged, be strengthened, know that you are loved and stand.
